The Art of Expression
Activations is a space for experiences that inspire connection, growth, and engagement. Through curated events, immersive design, and collaborative gatherings, these offerings create opportunities for people to participate, explore, and evolve—both individually and as a community.
The monarch butterfly migration guides the intention of this space. Like all butterflies, monarch caterpillars turn inwards to undergo a transformation, and it is this inner work that allows them to emerge and fly together, free to crossing great distances. They fly amongst the falling aspen leaves, itself a massive organism that cycles with the seasons. Both the monarch annd aspen reflect personal and collective growth. Activations create experiences and environments where people engage, connect, and grow together.

ROLLPLAY
Santa Cruz, CA
ROLLPLAY is a themed event series blending music, movement, and immersive self-expression. Created in collaboration with DJ Robin Applewood in Santa Cruz, each gathering invited guests to dress to the theme and bring roller skates or blades to fully embody the experience. With interactive elements, curated soundscapes, and a playful spirit, ROLLPLAY transformed the dance floor into a living stage for creativity, connection, and embodied fun.
CommuniTea Talks
Santa Cruz, CA
CommuniTea Talks is a community gathering designed to nourish thoughtful dialogue and human connection. Each event features a short talk from a guest speaker, followed by gentle ambient music and shared Gong Fu–style tea as participants sit together to reflect and discuss. Created as an antidote to the division amplified by social media, CommuniTea invites people of all walks of life to engage in meaningful, in-person conversations—bridging differences, expanding perspectives, and returning to the art of listening with curiosity and respect.
Light the Night with Love
Carbondale, CO
Light the Night with Love was an illuminated winter art walk created in collaboration with Carbondale Creative District and KDNK. A half-mile bike path glowed with farolitos decorated by community members, interactive art, and live performances—inviting each person to participate in whatever sparked their creative fire. Rooted in the belief that when we focus on doing what we love, we can better navigate dark moments in our lives. By sharing our creative light with others, we inspire others to connect with what they love, so that together, we light the night with love.
